I found my seat at the ceramics wheel while creating favors for my wedding. Seventy-seven celadon pots latter, my passion for pottery fully blossomed. Today I bring that same love to each of my pieces.

Why DIRTboy? I had a love for all things outdoors growing up in Pennsylvania with access in my back yard to a forest and creek. I would spend all my free time building forts, playing in the creek and catching animals. To my mom’s nightly frustration, I would journey home at dusk covered in mud and pockets full of critters from that days adventures. Friends and family soon called me by the nickname Dirtboy.

Today I live in Sausalito on a lovely floating home with my husband. Though I live on the ocean, I love the grounding feeling of throwing pots at the wheel. I still come home covered in clay.

I currently have a membership at Stone Gold Ceramics in San Francisco where I produce all my works. All pieces are food safe as well as microwave and dishwasher safe unless noted.
